Recently, Starbucks signed a new deal with tech startup firm Brightloom, that previously worked with no human interaction.

The coffee company has assigned a license for elements of the coffee giant’s software. In return, the company has an equity stake in the startup and a seat on its board of directors.

Starbucks announced the re-branding of Brightloom on Monday, which was earlier known as Eatsa, a company that was working as a restaurant chain with self-regulation technology, where customers ordered via kiosk.

The initial work of Brightloom will concentrate on giving the software for the company’s license partners around the globe.

The CEO of Brightloom, Adam Brotman, earlier worked with Starbucks as an executive from 2009 to 2018. Later Jon Shulkin, the executive chairman of Brightloom, and now Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson offered him the post of CEO.
