Ryan Reynolds Is At It Again

Ryan Reynolds continues to troll us all in hilarious fashion as he has now started up a new streaming service that only has one movie in its library: 2003’s Foolproof. The streaming service comes as part of an ad campaign for Mint Mobile.

All for Mint Mobile

Reynolds bought a stake in Mint Mobile last year and announced the launch of his new streaming service a few days ago. His announcement was an ad for Mint Mobile+, an all-new platform that offer “80 minutes” of “bingetastic unoriginals” in “2003 DVD quality.”

The new platform is free for anyone to access at mintmobileplus.com. The options, however, are rather limited since there is only one option available, Foolproof, the 2003 comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Kristin Booth.

The movie branded as an “All-Rounder” being categorized in several ways: “Original Originals”, Kind of Originals”, and “Unoriginal Originals.” It also appears as every movie in the site’s “Top 10” category.

Reynolds posted about the site’s launch, saying:

“Two minutes after launch and our crack data team has already determined Mint Mobile+ should probably be shut down by the weekend. We’ll go back to focusing on premium wireless.”

Not the First Time He Has Poked Fun

Reynolds has had a history of making fun of the movies he has starred in. Recently, he re-edited Green Lantern into a 27-second video with not much of the actual movie in it and inserted himself into the ending of 2017’s Justice League. He also poked fun at X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Green Lantern during the credits of Deadpool 2.

The Green Lantern Isn’t Done

Even though Reynolds’ Hal Jordan won’t appear in HBO Max’s Snyder Cut next year, the hero will still be coming back to live-action as they are reportedly developing a live-action series, which is also set to feature the villain, Sinestro.

So if you find yourself needing something to watch or do this weekend, why not give Foolproof a look? What’s the worst that could happen?
