Disneyland Has Sold Three $25k R2-D2 Droids at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

According to ComicBook.com three of the R2-D2 Droids costing $25k have been sold by Disneyland at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In the first week open three of the droids were sold which are “remote controlled R-units.”

The latest Disneyland point of interest in the Galaxy Edge is now selling a “$25,000 life-size custom astromech unit” which is sold at Droid Depot and “looks just like the 3-and-half-foot-tall R2-D3.”

“You get to choose your own design and color scheme for the $25,000 R-unit droid. And you even get to decide if your own personal starship mechanic and fighter pilot’s assistant is grimy and battle-worn or has a factory-fresh shine,” as explained by The Orange County Register.

You can visit Droid Depot and can look at one of the R-units. They will be on display and you can see it rolling out entertaining its fans.
