Slack Facing Major Outages

The famous messaging service company, Slack is experiencing some blackouts. The issue is that users are unable to send messages and some users are unable to edit them.

Although Users are able to log in but due to functionality issues some messages are duplicated, while some simple operations such as links previews are not working, and getting files uploaded is a bit difficult.

The company admitted the issue on its service page and agreed that the problem started early in the Morning on Friday.

Slack status page says that the incident was triggered by third-party network outages, which cause instability in their core services. Company has solved the issue by implementing some hardware and has restarted some of its key services.

They are now analyzing the details to know the major reason for the interruption and the company plans to take some preventive measures to control such situations in the future.
