Amazon Extends Prime Day to 48 Hours

Geek.com reports that this month Amazon Prime day sales will begin on July 15 but as a surprise, the company has extended Prime day to full 48 hours. Now, Prime day sales will be up to July 16, starting at midnight on July 15.

In the two-day sale, Amazon Prime subscribers will able to purchase from 1 million offers covering the limited-time offer and also exclusive launches.

Jeff Wilke, CEO of the worldwide consumer brand Amazon said, “Get ready, as we pull back the curtain to reveal exclusive products, special performances, and two full days of phenomenal deals this Prime Day”

Further, he added, “Our Vision is that Prime Day should be the absolute best time to be a member when you can enjoy shopping, savings, entertainment, and some of the best deals Prime members have ever seen.”

The extension of the sale woke up competitors like Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Fry Electronics, Target, and Lowe’s. They are all working on some strategies to be in the game with Amazon.

They will either need to defeat or compete with Amazon Prime Day deals or drop by the wayside!
