Facebook’s Changes To Messenger Will Push Advertisers To Spend More

Facebook recently announced some new changes to its messenger platform during its  F8 conference.

According to Business Insider, this move will get Marketers to make more chat box and spend considerably more on publicizing across all of its applications including Instagram and Facebook.

Facebook wants to profoundly emphasize private and encrypted communication. Providing more encryption features to its apps is its new mission.

Messages which are end-to-end encrypted will not be accessible by Facebook which is a piece of great news for privacy.

The social media giant is pitching messenger as a “powerful channel for its entire customer relationship” and “Building chat box requires a lot of resources and advertisers are a bit weary of pushing ads on messaging apps”

Zuckerburg  said it will take some time to make its products feel more private & this transition would happen “over the next few years.”

The conference also spent plenty of time discussing how privacy is a priority for the company. This is in the face of calls for more regulatory oversight of the Social giant worldwide.
