HBO Arrives On Apple’s New TV App.
According to reports by Digital Trends, HBO is the latest addition to Apple’s new TV app, which comes with a week-long free trial and support for offline viewing included.
The new TV app will be publically released on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV later this month.
The service costs $15, the same price that you’d pay for an HBO Now subscription or HBO access through services such as Sling TV or Hulu.
On the new Apple TV app, you will be able to share your HBO subscription across 6 individual devices and download HBO content to your mobile device so that you can watch it offline, which is something that the standard HBO Now app doesn’t allow.
When you are watching HBO through the Apple TV app, you’ll be able to take benefit of all of the app’s features.
If you have already subscribed to HBO Now, you would not be able to merge your account to Apple’s Service. It implies that the only way to use the Apple TV Channels version of the premium network is to first cancel your existing subscription and sign up again through the Apple TV app (or have two subscriptions running simultaneously).
