One of the standouts games from the Series X announcements today was the game Second Extinction! An FPS that borrows co-op elements from games like Left 4 Dead, only this one has dinosaurs!
The three player co-op experience will see you and two friends landing on a planet overrun by mutated dinosaurs. As you fight your way through hordes of enemies, you must make it to the end and be extracted. You then spend your experience on upgrades so that you can take on increasingly difficult levels.
While it is short and only clocks in at a little over a minute, the trailer provides a good glimpse. There’s definitely some survival horror in there with amazing graphics, lots of violence and dinos.
Overall, this seems like something that could prove to be very enjoyable with some friends! Not to worry, if you do not have anyone to play with, there is a solo option!
