Have you ever watched a movie and just thought to yourself; “why did I just spend money on that?”
Well, I honestly still do not have an answer to that question.
I honestly wish there was something that I could say positive about Cats in order to at least recommend a ticket. Or a matinee showing but honestly, this movie was rough to get through.
The CGI is just… It’s atrocious.
Multiple times you can see that the CGI was not rendered correctly and suddenly a cat has a human hand, or a background glitches for like a frame or a cat suddenly has human shoes on.
It is such a bizarre viewing experience, I really do not know what I was supposed to take away from it, I guess the music was alright.
I really do not know what to say about this movie, it was unintentionally hilarious. Felt like an awkward acid trip that was meant to be an escape to a different world.
What else is there to say really? I guess the cast was star studded, they weren’t good but they are good actors.
I don’t recommend this movie folks, I really don’t.
If you don’t believe me, Cats is still playing in theaters.
