Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy, two of the people behind last year’s Doctor Sleep, are set to bring another Stephen King adaptation to the silver screen in the form of the 2014 thriller, Revival.
The news came from a THR report that confirmed Flanagan and Macy were on the project, and also confirmed that the Josh Boone project on the title had stalled. There have been no dates given for production start or release, with the only real details known being that Flanagan is up for writing duties, with an option to direct.

One of King’s most recent works, Revival tells the story of a preacher who wants to contact some departed loved ones, but ends up summoning something much more frightening from another realm.
This is great news for Stephen King fans, as Flanagan has proven himself to really have a grasp of the style and tone of Stephen King’s stories, proving that definitively with Doctor Sleep.
