Elon Musk Announces YouTube And Netflix Streaming, Will Be Available ‘Soon’ In Teslas

Tesla CEO Elon Musk state that their cars will be able to “soon” stream Netflix and YouTube.

Musk wrote in his tweet about the display in cars but the exact date was not revealed, possibly in August. He said it would have “an amazingly immersive, cinematic feel due to the comfy seats & surround sound audio.”

Video streaming would only run when the car is parked, similar to games like “Cuphead” and “Super Breakout” which can be played inside the cars.

For some time Musk wanted to make Telsa cars that not only give information but also works as an entertainment hub. Though the capacity for Tesla to introduce streaming is reliant on the approval of self-driving by regulators.

In February, Musk said he was “certain” that by the end of the year Telsa cars will be self-driving.
