On Wednesday, Netflix discharged a report to its shareholders, disclosing to them they intend to remain ad-free.

The company also revealed that, in the second quarter of the year, the subscriber growth had dropped down in large numbers.

Netflix stock had fallen at $3.55 with a loss of 126,000 U.S. subscribers in second-quarter. In the first quarter of the year, the company had 1.7 million U.S. subscribers.

In the Investor note, the company declared , “When you read speculation that we are moving into selling advertising, be confident that this is false.”

The company is competition to premium TV network HBO, that does not charge for ads.
