San Francisco became the first city to bans popular e-cigarette

As an attempt to “curb the epidemic of youth vaping”, San Francisco officials voted on Tuesday for a complete ban on the sale of e-cigarettes.

San Francisco has become the first city in the US to do so and shows an aggressive move with a question on the future of smoking “Vapes”.

If the government does not take any step, the city has to move forward for protecting teens and banning the sale of a product which is untested until they are reviewed by FDA, as said by Advocates of the ban.

In return, the opponents say that the new law leaves cigarettes, known to cause cancer and heart disease but it’s only another side of the coin if a person is addicted to nicotine.

E-cigarettes are for those who want to quit smoking as it fulfills the craving of nicotine. However, concerns remain here is that it can develop a habit of nicotine among young people.
