Rapper and musician Scarface recently gave an update on his battle with Coronavirus. Describing his situation as being “mere inches away from death”, the musician has now been put on dialysis.
The musician got hit particularly hard from the novel coronavirus. Experiencing a rough bout with pneumonia in both of his lungs as he got progressively worse. He was experiencing intense pressure in his lungs as he worked on recovering.

When things continued to escalate he thought he was out of the woods until he experienced partial kidney failure. Scarface describes his life changes pretty succinctly:

“I gotta change my entire diet, I gotta do dialysis four days a week, three hours a day. That’s taking all my blood out, cleaning it and putting it back in my body.”
It’s a tricky situation for anyone, regardless of your health and immune system. Dialysis is rare for good reason, but pneumonia is an intense battle.
Among the world trying to find a way to get back to normal, stories like this should remind people of the dangers. We will get back to normal, but we have to stay vigilant for as long as we can.
