“I am the fastest… Non bacteria… Thing… Alive!”
Most TV shows were able to avoid the struggle of working around COVID due to filming a lot of stuff ahead of time, but not The Flash. The Flash is delayed, the CW show is officially on suspension until further notice for the future.
Apparently the speed of light is not quick enough to escape temporary suspension in these days. Much like the last few delays, staff were not given a time-frame that shooting would renew. Sadly leaving a lot of questions for employment.
Worry not dear reader, so far none of the crew have been tested as positive for COVID, rather this is just precautionary. Which is probably the best decision that could’ve been made in light of all the other delays.
The Flash was in the middle of its sixth season when the delay was announced, just two seasons behind Arrow before it ended.
Other productions are shutting down and suspending shoots, it seems that the CW has managed to avoid it. Supergirl, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow have yet to announce any suspensions. Although considering the rampancy of delays, it seems likely that it’ll happen pretty soon.
