More Family Troubles for Hawkeye
You’d be forgiven for forgetting that Jeremy Renner was in the midst of a lawsuit battle. Back in 2019 following the release of Avenger’s Endgame, Renner found himself accused of drug use and violent behavior.
After this claim was made, Renner fired back claiming that the evidence and witness was fabricated. Essentially saying that he was innocent and that the charges were completely fictional.
Recently, in the ongoing court case proceedings, Renner is accusing his ex wife of stealing from their daughter’s trust fund. Saying that she abused the trust of their daughter and used the funds for personal gain.

Despite that, Sonni (Renner’s Ex Wife) claims that she never tried to hide the transferred funds. She said that the funds were used to employ lawyers and buy her daughter gifts. Which means that if true, Renner could find himself in hot water.
“The money transfers to my bank were to keep my afloat/provide [the minor] Christmas presents/birthday gift bags and essentials for her bday party – after all my savings were spent on lawyers/child custody evaluator.”
Once she provided the emails and filings, most of the transfers substantiated her claims. However, one of the most recent transfers shows that she transferred directly to a personal checking account. Additionally, the Trust Fund that Renner set up was supposed to go towards his daughter’s education and medical expenses.
That money was not to be used for the court case, additional expenses or gifts. And Renner’s daughter was not allowed to access the money until she is 27.
Right now there no clear signs as to who is guilty of what. Time will be the deciding factor as increasing evidence mounts against both parties. Too early to tell at this point in time.
