Struggling to keep the kids busy or asleep? Well, Michelle Obama is here to assist in just that! Despite some states opening back up and some businesses planning a reopening, there are still pandemic concerns. Namely, that there will be no school until next year, so kids will have a lot of free time on their hands.
Beginning on April 20th on PBS Kids, Michelle Obama will be reading some of her favorite books for kids.
I’m thrilled to share some of my favorite children’s books and give kids an opportunity to practice their reading (while giving families a much-needed break!).
Join me, @PBSKIDS, and @penguinrandom for read-alongs on Mondays at 12pm ET on @PBSKIDS Facebook and YouTube! https://t.co/839isAWKSt

With books like “The Gruffalo” or “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, it’s a great way to keep the kids entertained. Good on the Obama’s for helping out in any way while parents lose their collective minds! Lord knows they could use a break.
Anyone who is interested in watching the live stream can do so from either PBS Kids Facebook page or YouTube Channel. So you do not need to go hunt it down on cable or wait for a recording, it’s as easy as just launching a web browser!
