Tik Tok Under Fire

The popular social media platform has come under fire recently over privacy and security concerns. This culminated in President Trump claiming he would ban the app in the U.S. very soon.

Microsoft Corp. and Bytedance Ltd. have begun acquisition talks for the video-creation platform, but have put those on hold after Trump said he would oppose the deal.

It’s not looking good for the popular service right now, but that hasn’t stopped it from continuing to draw in millions of personalities and viewers.
