Harrison Ford seems to be the epitome of “I really don’t want to be here but whatever”. And nowhere is this more obvious than in his last couple of interviews.
In a round of interviews promoting his most recent film, Call of the Wild a movie that proves even animals don’t want to work with him, he had some choice words.
Those who are familiar with his work would know that Harrison has always been outspoken of how much he hated playing Han Solo. Or more specifically, how much he hated it during the last few movies.
“I’ve been arguing for Han Solo to die for about 30 years, not because I was tired of him or because he’s boring, but his sacrifice for the other characters would lend gravitas and emotional weight.” He knew the importance of a good death, and he felt cheated out of that for years.
For Better Or For Worse, We Have The Most Ford Response Ever
Well, he’s back folks! Ford came out in apathetic force during his most recent interview.
While talking to USA Today during the premiere for his new film he was asked about his feelings for coming back in Rise of Skywalker. Specifically how he felt being turned into a Force Ghost.
To which we got the most Ford response we could have gotten: “Don’t tell anyone. I’m not talking loud enough for your recorder. I have no f***ing idea what a Force ghost is. And I don’t care.”
I’m sorry but I find this hilarious. Maybe I’m so disillusioned with Star Wars after the last couple movies that I just understand his apathy or I just love how blunt he is.
The man doesn’t care, and after playing the same character for nearly 40 years, I think he’s earned that respite.
What do you think of Harrison Ford’s response? Do you think he has the right or is he just being a jerk? Either way, we found it hilarious. Be sure to check out our social media and YouTube for all things that don’t make it to article form!
